A shippers testimonial
From the Masheo Discussion Board
Subject: sad, shipper truth...

Ok, it is sad, but very true. I enjoy being here at the MASHEO board, because simply put:
You all are ten times as intelligent as the average SHIPPER. Usually, SHIPPERS just state that Mulder and Scully should have sex. Which really bothers me. I don't think they should have sex. I think that the term to use, (if they ever get it on), would be "making love." Because that is what it is. They would be professing their love, and eternal connection to each other, and would express it physically. However, I don't think I would enjoy that as much as I enjoy seeing them bond in the littler, more intimate ways. Crying on one anothers' shoulder, telling a secret that absolutely no one else has known. The little, more important things. Like getting used to each others' strange habits, and allowing yourself to accomodate them. (The sunflower seeds, the orange juice with vodka, the porno tapes: these are Mulder's peckadilos.) and (the fascination with motherhood, the inability to show when she is afraid, or angry, etc. these are Scully's.) It is the things unspoken that show true love, and these are completely inspirational, these make us SHIPPERS, and even the unadmittingly MASHEOites long to see this in our lives.
My point (and yes, I am finally getting to it) is that I choose to come here, and argue with you haters because our conversations are more stimulating and thought-provoking. Any and every SHIPPER board is filled with the same mispelled garbage posts. The error filled, thoughtless, meandering propositions and fanfic of Mulder and Scully exchanging bodily fluids for no other reason then to see them naked in the same scene together. Whatever.
I am thankful for this board, whether or not I disagree with each and every one of you. It helps me to think, to use the power of deduction and revenge, and to explore the possibilities and endless ideas that come from a two-sided equation.
Thank you Masheo. Thank you for making me think.
